The Jaguar F-PACE is in the running for two prestigious titles at the 2017 World Car Awards.

It was announced at the Geneva Motor Show this week that Jaguar’s performance SUV had been shortlisted in the World Car of the Year and World Car Design of the Year categories for the awards, with the winners to be revealed at next month’s New York International Auto Show.

A 75-strong panel of leading international motoring journalists will determine the outcome, with Jaguar hoping the F-PACE will wow the judges in the same way it has done the public, with the model becoming the fastest-selling Jaguar ever following its launch almost 12 months ago.

The F-PACE has found its versatility to be a big hit with car buyers, from the efficiency offered by the four-cylinder 2.0-litre Ingenium diesel which produces just 126g/km to the powerful performance of the supercharged V6 petrol version which does 0-62mph in just 5.5 seconds.

The Jaguar F-PACE is available to order now from Jaguar UK retailers, priced from £34,730 on-the-road.
