Isuzu has launched its most audacious online advertising campaign to date, timed to coincide with the upcoming Halloween celebrations.

The campaign will be aired for the next six weeks on Isuzu UK’s YouTube channel, as well as on a range of automotive, sports, and outdoor interest sites, and stars the special edition Isuzu D-Max Blade pick-up as the hero in a zombie-infested post-apocalyptic city.

The Japanese manufacturer hopes the advert will demonstrate the D-Max Blade’s versatility in tackling the most nightmarish of jobs, as well as its zombie-dodging attributes. The special edition Isuzu D-Max Blade double-cab featured in the campaign boasts 18-inch six-spoke alloy wheels, black contrasting load-bed bars, and rear privacy glass. Inside there is automatic climate control, black leather seats, 6.1-inch touchscreen navigation system, integrated rear safety camera, and enhanced surround sound audio system. Powered by a 2.5-litre twin-turbo diesel engine, the 3.5-tonne rated D-Max Blade special edition is available now priced from £24,995, and is available in both six-speed manual or five-speed automatic versions. All new D-Max models come with Isuzu’s 5-year/125,000-mile warranty.

Haydn Davies, Marketing Director at Isuzu UK, commented: “The stylish special edition Isuzu D-Max Blade is a highly distinctive range-topper for our hugely capable pick-up range. It spearheads our strategy to reach a much wider audience than we have done historically, and this online commercial provides an excellent platform to reach new audiences across the UK. As well as looking every part the superhero pick-up, the ad shows that an Isuzu D-Max Blade can still deliver even when faced with the trickiest of situations.”
