Isuzu – who are celebrating their centenary year in 2016 – have added a new limited edition commemorative paint finish to their D-Max Blade pick-up.

Just 100 examples of the Isuzu D-Max Blade will be produced in the striking Venetian Red colour scheme in celebration of a century since the company first established in Tokyo.

The top-of-the-range D-Max Blade starts from £25,999 with manual transmission, with the Venetian Red paint finish a no-cost option. The D-Max Blade launched in 2014 with a choice of Cosmic Black or Pearlescent White paint. The 2.5-litre twin turbocharged diesel engine gives the Isuzu D-Max Blade a fuel economy of 38.7 mpg combined and a 3.5 tonne braked trailer towing capacity. The model helped Isuzu record a 13% sales increase in 2015, with sales up a staggering 478% compared to five years ago.
