Infiniti have confirmed that a brace of new models will make their European debut at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show.

The Q60 sports coupe and QX30 premium active crossover will make their continental bow at the event in Switzerland at the start of next month, joining the upgraded Q50 on the Infiniti stand.

The all-new Q60 sports coupe is powered by a brand new 3.0-litre V6 twin-turbo engine, a 400bhp power plant offering one of the best power-to-efficiency ratios in its class. Meanwhile, the QX30 joins the range as part of Infiniti’s premium compact line up, offering a more elevated appearance than the Q30.

The Q50 sports saloon will appear for the first time with the 3.0-itre V6 engine found in the all-new Q60, as well as Infinit’s second-generation Direct Adaptive Steering and new Dynamic Digital Suspension. Infiniti are a growth brand in Western Europe, a market in which it saw a 45% leap in sales last year.

Francois Goupil de Bouille, Infiniti Vice President, Europe, Middle East and Africa commented: “This is an exciting time for Infiniti, as we have transformed our product line-up and established sales records across the globe and in our region in particular. The new models set for their European debuts in Geneva highlight our commitment to expanding our product portfolio in new and thrilling directions, based on daring concept cars. This is the Infiniti way, and one that will help us achieve further success in 2016 and beyond.”
