Which? magazine has named Hyundai as the 'Best Car Manufacturer' of 2011.
Consumer advice magazine Which? has awarded its prestigious 'Best Car Manufacturer' award to Hyundai.
At the annual Which? magazine awards ceremony, held in London today, Hyundai was presented with the sought after 'Best Car Manufacturer' award. Which? is the biggest consumer organisation in the UK and has more than 650,000 members, and its annual awards recommend the 'best of the best' in UK products and services.
In a Which? reliability survey owners of Hyundai cars gave an 82% positive rating, while a satisfaction survey resulted in an 84% positive rating for the firm. Which? also commended the competitive pricing of Hyundai products and its five year unlimited miles warranty. In addition to the overall title Hyundai also won 'Best Buy' status for two of its cars - the i20 and the i30.
The Chief Executive of Which?, Peter Vicary-Smith commented:
"To win a Which? Award, not only must a company offer outstanding products or services, it must also deliver exceptional value and a great customer experience. This is especially important at a time when consumers are really feeling the pinch."
"While all those in the shortlist performed well over the past 12 months, Hyundai stood out thanks to its great warranty deal and value for money cars."
