Independent analysis of Warranty Direct policies has found Honda to be, yet again, the most reliable make of used car in the UK.

For the ninth consecutive year the research into 50,000 live policies covered by the aftermarket warranty provider has seen the Japanese brand perform best in the reliability index of 37 manufacturers. The index assesses cars aged between three and eight years old for failure rates, mileage, and cost of repair to reach the overall score.

The study found used Honda’s to boast low failure rates and competitive repair costs compared to other marques, with the Honda Jazz model the most reliable individual model.

Philip Crossman, Managing Director of Honda UK, welcomed the new by saying: “To take the title for the ninth consecutive year is fantastic. Our success is built upon the trust that customers have in our brand to keep them on the move with great products and great service.”
