A celebration of four decades of the Ford Fiesta will take place at Brighton Racecourse next month.
Organised by magazines Fast Ford, Classic Ford, Fast Car, and Retro Cars, the Ford Summer Festival will take place on Saturday 16 July, starting with a traditional ‘London to Brighton’ run including 40 Ford Fiesta to mark the small hatchback’s milestone birthday.
Once at Brighton Racecourse there will be Ford displays, retail area, live entertainment, and onsite camping, with advance entry tickets priced at £10.
“For the Fiesta’s birthday, we wanted something that was a bit more than a traditional car show”, said Katherine Chappell, Ford Summer Festival event manager.
“We wanted an event with a proper party atmosphere, and coming to Brighton gives us just that. This is a festival, not just a car show, and we fully expect Ford fans to make a full weekend out of it.”
