Five-star safety from Jaguar E-PACE | Awards - Car News Dec 2017

Jaguar’s new E-PACE compact SUV has achieved the top five-star Euro NCAP safety rating.

It attained high scores of 86% for adult occupant protection, 87% for child occupant protection and 77% for pedestrian protection, scoring maximum points in the side barrier test, and the side and frontal offset tests for child occupants.

The E-PACE also performed strongly In the pedestrian tests, particularly for the protection of a pedestrian’s head in the event of a collision.

Priced from £28,500, the Jaguar E-PACE boasts standard safety systems that includes Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Detection, while Autonomous Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Detection, Matrix-Laser LED headlights, Lane Keep Assist, Driver Condition Monitor, Adaptive Cruise Control with Queue Assist, Pedestrian Airbag, Reverse Traffic Monitor, and Blind Spot Assist are also available.
