Classic car fans have cause for excitement after Channel 5 revealed it is to air a new TV series dedicated to subject.

The Classic Car Show will hit UK screens from 7pm on Thursday 5th February, with a format the producers claim will capture the glamour, passion, and remarkable stories from the multi-billion pound global classic car industry.

The new programme will be presented by Quentin Willson, the former Top Gear presenter and highly-respected classic motoring journalist, alongside supermodel and racing driver Jodie Kidd.

The Classic Car Show has been developed by Channel 5 in response to increasing interest in the subject, with the market having grown by an astonishing 257 per cent over the past decade. Features on iconic motors like the Jaguar E-Type and Aston Martin DB5 will follow as the series progresses.
