- Will I be under obligation to go through with the sale if
I decide to
view?
- NO. Not at all, your Handover Agent is not a sales man; they are simply there for your benefit and to help you with any queries. Although we find that most people who take the time to view our vehicles do indeed go on to win the auctions, YOU remain in control of your decision making process - we just make sure that we provide you with all the information and support you need at every stage.
Questions specific to Auction vehicles
- What time can I view a car currently in auction?
-
Carsite viewings are available between 9am and 4.30pm Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays) and are strictly by appointment. From within the listing, click on the 'Arrange a Viewing' tab.
Alternatively, you can phone our Customer Support team during business hours giving your full name, contact number, the car registration plate and model (shown in the HPI and inspection report) and a suitable date and time.
On conformation of your viewing we will e-mail to confirm the scheduled time and date and send you a location map.
- Can I 'end the auction' early after viewing it?
- Whilst it is not our policy to end ebay auctions early (except in the case of a technical problem), our ‘virtual showroom’ www.carsite.co.uk lists vehicles which can be removed from sale immediately. What's more, to make it even easier for you, Carsite provides the facility for you to 'BIN' at the viewing centre, all you will need is your credit card to pay the handling fee of £75.00.
It is possible in some instances to collect the vehicle on the same day as a viewing. If you think this could be a possibility, it is best that you inform the Carsite Viewing Centre of your intent, and they will try and advise you of the possibility. Make your viewing appointment as early in the day as possible. This will give you time to organise your Bankers Draft and insurance while the car is being prepared for your collection. Alternatively, if you wish to pay the balance via electronic transfer, this payment will have to be cleared prior to your viewing date. The Carsite staff will be on hand to help you through the process.
- What documentation should I bring to the viewing?
- Current driving licence that the staff will need to photocopy.
- Will I be given the reserve price when I view?
- NO. The owners of this vehicle (a major finance house) do not reveal their reserves at any stage of the auction process; we can tell you however that they do set the reserves at wholesale prices bringing you massive savings on normal forecourt prices.
