Nissan Note Car Reviews

The Nissan Note is a small MPV that offers space and practicality. The Note was designed to be a family car and provides good value for money. This is evident inside the car as the cabin provides good head and legroom, both in the front and the rear. The boot is of a generous size with enough space for a decent amount of luggage. Accessibility to the car is very good and the seats are finished in a comfortable fabric.

Nissan Note Overview

The Note comes in in five levels of trim in the UK - Visia, Visia +, Acenta, Acenta S and Tekna. The mid-range models are the best choice for value and comfort. All of them come as standard with a single CD player, electric front windows and electric door mirrors.

Petrol and diesel engines are available for the Note, and there is a choice of a 4-speed automatic or 5-speed manual transmission. Steering is light and responsive, making for a smooth ride even at high speeds. The diesel engine is the most practical option and provides the best fuel economy.

Background

The Nissan Note was first produced in 2004, when it went on sale in Japan.

The model was released in the United Kingdom in 2006 and was initially available in three levels of trim, the S, SE and SVE. These have now been replaced, in the UK, by the Visia, Visia +, Acenta, Acenta S and Tekna. Each of these models comes equipped with four airbags and remote central locking.

The car received a four star safety rating from Euro NCAP in the adult occupant category in 2006.

The second-generation Note went on sale in 2013, featuring the same practicality of the old car but adding new styling and a range of efficient new engines.

Summary

The Nissan Note offers practicality and a spacious interior. The car represents good value for money and makes for a great family vehicle.
