Mercedes-Benz Car Reviews
The Mercedes-Benz brand can be traced all the way back to what is often cited as the first ever petrol-powered car. Created by Karl Benz, it was known as the Benz Patent Motorwagen, and it was patented in 1886. Gottlieb Daimler would go on to make his own petrol powered vehicle later that year with help from engineer Wilhelm Maybach. Daimler went on to give some of his models the Mercedes name, so when Karl Benz and Gottlieb’s companies joined forces in 1926, the Mercedes-Benz title was born.
Since their first models Mercedes-Benz has continued to push the boundaries and remain innovative when it comes to technology and safety. They are well known for their limousine style cars and they have also had much success in the world of motorsports.
